Jal Jeevan Foundation chairman Sunil Kumar Patwari Receives C 20 Flag from Swadesh Singh Mr Sunil Kumar Patwari, chairman-cum-founder of Jal Jeevan Dhara Foundation (JJDF), a non-profit organization, today received the C20 Flag from Mr Swadesh Singh at New Delhi office of C20 India. C20 India is one of the official Engagement Groups of the G20 that provides a platform for Civil Society Organizations (CSO) around the world. Coordinator C20 India Swadesh Singh appreciated the JJDF for participating in the C20’s nationwide actives. On the occasion Mr Patwari said that we are conceptually inspired by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's Jal Jeevan Mission aimed at providing safe and adequate drinking water through individual household tap connections by 2024 to all households in rural India. Mr Patwari said Indians have a rich civilization of thousands of years which worship sources of water like Ganga and Yamuna. Therefore it is not only something about our survival, but our civilizational responsibility to make efforts to conserve water and ensure that we provide easy access to safe drinking water to every citizen of the country.
